New Screencast: Add metadata to your site
In this new screencast, I demonstrate how to add a custom title, meta keywords, and a meta description to your web pages. The screencast shows the set-up I have been using recently, so if it doesn’t look like your site, let me know.
Though this meta-data will apply to blog posts as well as “static” informational pages, you should be aware of the difference between meta keywords and tags. While keywords won’t generally be visible to your site’s visitors, but may be helpful to search engines, tags are often shown in a blog instead of or alongside categories, as another why to navigate through articles.
