QR Codes

After posting recently about the mail I got from Google, I saw this article on the mass mailing on nytimes.com.

A couple of interesting things were mentioned in the article, including the fact that you can encode little bits of your own information in these codes. Possibilities that occur to me are:

• Encoding the url of a dedicated landing page for your business website
• Encoding a coupon code or sale announcement
• Encode your Google Local or Google Maps page url
• You can put one of these codes on a car magnet, a sticker, business card, or t-shirt
