Readability: Eliminate clutter on any website

The website and bookmarklet Readability takes any article you may want to read online, such as a New York Times news story, and eliminates all the extraneous stuff, like ads, navigation, “sharing” tools, and links to other stories. It presents the text and associated photos in a single column with nice typography. To use it:

• Visit the Readability website and select the options you want
• Drag the large “Readability” button to your bookmarks bar
• When you’re reading an article, click on that button, and, like magic, the article is transformed!
